Dental Sealants
Sealants are used to fill narrow grooves on teeth that cannot be adequately cleaned by brushing. This minimizes the chance of developing cavities. Non-surgical Gum Treatments: The gums, ligaments, and bone around the teeth serve as their foundation and are collectively called the periodontium. When the periodontium is not healthy, teeth are jeopardized. Symptoms of an unhealthy periodontium (gum disease) include the following: red gums that bleed easily, bad breath, gums that are pulled away from the teeth, loose teeth, and changes in the position of teeth or the overall bite. It is possible to restore the periodontium to health (as long as it is not too severe) using non-surgical treatments such as a deep cleaning, root planing, and antibiotics.
